After Christmas Sales...Before Christmas!
Don't wait until after Christmas for the best sales on Christmas decor. If you wait until then, the best items will already be gone. Or the items still available might all have dents and scratches on them. Too often, we think that the best time to scoop up those holiday decorating pieces we've wanted but didn't want to pay near full-price for is the day after... This may be true when it comes to clothing, jewelry, or sporting goods(although we suspect not), but it's definitely not true when it comes to holiday decor. When it comes to decorating, the full/high-price season has already passed and retailers are already drastically dropping prices to move the inventory. Stores like Kirkland's and Pier1 already have huge discounts and savings on all holiday decor. At these chains, the best deals are found in store, not online.
For holiday wrapping supplies, you do have to wait until after Christmas to get the best pricing. But why not wait and try to plan ahead a little. Get your wrapping paper tall storage tote from Target and safely keep your supplies both organized and dry until you need them next season. Stores still have plenty of beautiful wrappings available. Last year, Michael's put all their Christmas ribbons on sale for $1 or less. Grab a few rolls and then watch a video tutorial on youtube to learn how to tie a fancy beautiful bow. There are so many tutorials available and it's so easy. You will have the most beautifully wrapped gifts under your Christmas tree and you won't have spent a fortune.
